In the United States

In the United States of America, well over eighty percent of teenagers suffer from acne, which would rate the condition as arguably the number one disease infection plaguing adolescents in our day. But hey, acne is often as a result of hormone changes in your body, so if you have it when you are an adolescent, it is perfectly normal: this is the time when your body does experience its hormone changes the most. But nothing stops you from doing something about it, if it will help. When acne strikes most people as they grown into their puberty, there is a rapid growth that accompanies the syndrome early in their teen years. This gradually slows as you approach mid-teens, and then fades after you have crossed the trademark age twenty. By twenty-five, most sufferers have basically forgotten what it was like to live with the spots on their faces. Those who have not lost the lesions are then those that begin to frequent the dermatologists. Acne is a widespread and universal skin infection in perhaps all teenagers, but the infection has also been known to infect even the aged. The treatment thereof has undergone multiple metamorphoses over the ages, and although some people have found cure, too many still go on without it. But mankind isn’t one to give up on these things too easily. The struggle for a lasting and all-encompassing acne cure continues. Since acne is caused chiefly by the blocking of your pores, treating it must likewise begin that way: by removing the blockages from the pores. It was perpetrated by dead cells or actual dirt, and these may be very difficult to remove. However, the use of sulfur and sulfur based ointments has been known to help. I would never be an advocate for self medication, so seek your doctors endorsement before you embark on any of such, though.
